Junior Zoo Keeper

Find out exactly what it's like to look after wild animals with our new Junior Zoo Keeper workshops. Aimed at children and teenagers, these are short, half or whole-day courses according to age, which introduce you to the world of the zoo keeper and show you how to make sure that our animals are well fed, interested and cared for.

Plan an enclosure, make your animal's life more exciting, use tools, prepare an animal feed, learn basic health and safety, distribute a feed and meet an animal.

Cost

£50 per child. (7-11yrs).

Download our Junior Zoo Keeper (PDF) for information, contract and booking form, then return it to us. We can take a provisional booking by phone, but we need the form to secure your place. Completed booking forms with payment should be sent to:
